A little about me...
A recovering resource management planner on a writing buzz
I’m a journalist with the Wairarapa Times-Age and Midweek papers - small but mighty publications in a small but mighty region of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Until last year, I was a full-time resource management planner, and I had been for about 20 years.
So, being a journalist is a relatively new adventure for me, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say I find it a total thrill.
To discover I can write - not just boring reports or tedious strategies, but stories about people and their doings - has been one of my life’s greatest gifts to date.
Every sentence is practice, and every paragraph is progress.
Welcome.
